August, 2025, Volume 19, Issue 8

"Wow, summer is flying by!"
How can the summer days be passing so quickly!
Dare I say that school will start soon?

Algebra 2 FOLKS:
• The changes are now starting to show up. The new Interactive Section is up and running with its first two activities.
• Each of the major sections in the Subscription will now carry a link to the new coordinating TI-Nspire lesson page.
• In the MathBitsNotebook, the Algebra 2 level will have new TI-Nspire links, but the TI-84+ reference pages will also remain.

Junior Math FOLKS: Still working on the responses for requests. We have some new interactive goodies on the horizon, but it may be awhile before we can address them. Algebra 2 is a prime focus this summer.

Algebra 1 FOLKS: We have posted several responses for requests this summer. There are several more graphing requests that will be also be appearing this sumemr.

Pre-Calculus FOLKS: Pre-Calculus and Calculus are among our favorite things to teach, so we are determined to persist in getting these sections up and running. The Next Generation updates to Algebra 2 need to be finished and then we can focus on continuing our work on Pre-Calculus. Some of the new work in Algebra 2 will carry over into Pre-Calculus, so that is a plus. We have some of the work finished in the College Algebra component of Pre-Calculus (we are blending College Algebra and Pre-Calculus together to create one widely dispersed offering.) Right now, the plan is to start posting the Notebook in 2026, along with its new TI-Nspire pages. While the subscription will be develop as well, it will most likely not appear until the Notebook is finished.

Remember: New Updates Never End!
As major areas reach the end of their current NGMS-focused enhancement phase, please understand that the concept of "updating" never ends. We seem to be continually finding new items we want to include in our materials. We still have piles for each level that include new ideas we want to develop. So, even if your section is currently "complete", there will still be new things coming your way in the future.
Now, if someone could just put more than 24 hours in one day,
it would be most helpful!!! Smiles!

Live long and love math,
Fred and Donna
